The Division of Public Utility Accounting provides the Commission with
accounting and financial information to use when deliberating
utility cases involving rates and services; affiliate
transactions, mergers and acquisitions; certificates of public
convenience and necessity; alternative regulatory plans; and the
restructuring of utility markets.
