Virginia Insurance Counseling and Assistance Program (VICAP)

VICAP is a counseling program for individuals over age 60 that assist them (and their families) in understanding Medicare, Medicaid and medical bills, or in making decisions about Medicare supplement or long term care insurance. There is no cost for this service. The Virginia Department for the Aging and the Bureau of Insurance have worked closely together to develop this insurance counseling program in Virginia.
