A Workers' Compensation Group Self-Insurance Association is an entity organized by two or more employers having a common business interest that have entered into agreements to pool their liabilities under the Virginia Workers' Compensation Act. Upon joining a group self-insurance association, members must execute an indemnity agreement which makes them jointly and severally liable for the losses of one another.
