A Fraternal Benefit Society is a society, order or lodge that functions solely for the benefit of its member and their beneficiaries. A fraternal benefit society has a representative form of government with ritualistic form of work. It does not issue common stock and operates not for profit. A fraternal benefit society can apply to the Commission to offer its members benefits including death, endowment, annuity, disability, hospital, medical or nursing, and monument or tombstone.Please be aware that although a company is authorized, it may not necessarily write your business.
